摘要:
新闻视频中的标注文本是对视频内容的高度概括。针对新闻视频帧中文本区域的定位问题, 提出了一种有效的字幕定位 方法。该方法通过灰度差分统计对视频帧中文字区域进行行定位, 再利用变异灰度直方图( VGH ) 对文字区域进行列定位, 最 后对预处理结果进行过滤和合并得到文字区域定位的准确结果。实验表明该方法效果良好, 不受文字大小影响以及图像背景复 杂度限制, 且易于实现。
Abstract:
T he mar ked tex t of new s video is a hig hly condensed summar y of video content . As to the problem to locate the tex t reg ion o f the new s video f rame, an effect ive method for capt ion locat ion w as proposed in the paper. The g ray- scale dif ference stat ist ics w as used to locate the tex t region o f the video fr ame by row informat ion; then the local gray- scale histogram w as applied to locate the text area by column informat ion; finally, the accurate result s of tex t area locat ion w ere achieved af ter f ilter ing and mer ging the preprocessing image. Ex perimental results show that the method is convenient and ef fect iv e, and not affected by the tex t size and rest ricted by the imag e complex ity.
