摘要:
研究了含色散左手材料作为芯层的对称3 层平板波导TE 波的传输特性。利用有效折射率与频率的关系图, 讨论了芯层 色散和芯层厚度对波导的影响。研究表明, 导波和表面波都可以在这种波导中传播。导波不存在TE0 模式, 表面波有TE0 、 TE1 模式, 阶数m >1 的所有T Em 都是导波, 除TE0 模外所有T E 模都存在双模现象。并与无色散左手材料平板波导进行对 比, 发现它们模式特性的差异。
Abstract:
Studied propag ation proper ties of the TE mode fo r symmet rical three -lay er w aveg uide w ith lef t -handed mate rials containing dispersion as core layer .The inf luences on core layer′s dispersio n and thickness for waveguide were concentrated by the relationship between ef fective ref ract ion index and f requency . The result s prove that guided and surface w aves can bo th propag ate in the w aveguide .The re is no TE0 mode for guided waves .There are TE0 or TE1 mode for surface waves .All TEm (o rder m >1)a re g uided w aves , all T E modes show two -mo dephenomenon except TE0 mode .And results were compared with three slabs w aveguide wi th left -handed dispersionless material , and the characte ristic dif ferences o f thei r modes w ere found
