摘要:
 研究了单负材料对光子晶体微腔系统光学双稳态的影响。若是腔中介质为散焦型的Kerr介质,晶体最外层单负材料厚度的增加,可以有效降低系统双稳态的开关阈值,最佳的单负材料层厚度约为30nm。但是对于聚焦型Kerr介质,单负材料层的存在反而不利于系统双稳态开关阈值的有效降低。
Abstract:
The effects of single-negative material on the optical bistability of a photonic crystal microcavity were studied. If material in microcavity is defocusing Kerr medium, and the thickness of single-negative material in the outermost of the crystal increases, the bistable switch threshold will be reduced effectively. The thickness of the best single-negative material layer is about 30〖KG3x〗 nm. If the system is composed of focusing Kerr medium, the existence of single-negative material will not be conducive to the reduction of bistable switch threshold.
